Description
Moar horses! It was another sketchdump, but this was done mainly in Business Studies whilst getting the exams back and my free period. Why not?
As for references, the Quarter Horsey-looking one was a direct reference that I looked at for main facial features (I'm trying to perfect faces one little step at a time), which I was mainly trying to focus on the shape of the skull, and how I would draw it as a lineart.
Errm... So you have the bone above the nostril there is the nasal bone, the frontal bone (which is just above the eye), then you've got the squamosal bone, which is sort of that bone protruding from under the ear that connects the top and bottom jaws.
If you're interested, I found a site ( [link] ) that could help you out, if you're interested. I must admit, I've never really gone into detail, but upon drawing it, I thought that I should go into a little detail now and learn it, so that when I'm doing the vet course, it's going to be a hell of a lot easier to name the smaller pinpoint cranial bones.
...And it interests me in the mean time, AS WELL as it looks kind of semi real
Moving on all the others weren't drawn from a proper reference, but more sort of referenced from the middle, sort of a "look, cover, write, check" technique (picked up from Kindergarten >.>
Hey, it works for me
OH! I haven't linearted it, so if anyone would like to use it as a lineart, you may do so, just please send me a link back, I'd LOVE to see what it looks like coloured
